Who buys one

People who ride year round and never want to think about the drivetrain again. Trades and delivery use, where downtime costs money and an exposed chain is a liability. Long hilly commutes where one 800 Wh pack beats managing two 500s.
If you want ABS and the Smart System but not the Rohloff, the S10 does that for three thousand less. If you want the belt drive but none of the electronics, the P00 does that for five thousand less.

The GSD passed rigorous stress testing by EFBE Prüftechnik GmbH, with forces scaled up to ensure the frame and fork can reliably handle its 210 kg (463 lb) weight rating as specified in the German DIN 79010 cargo bike safety standard. Plus, its entire Bosch® eBike system, including the motor, battery, and charger, is certified to UL 2849 to ensure fire safety.
