Coming from Boston?
It’s worth the drive.
New England’s first dedicated cargo bike shop. Test ride Tern, Gazelle and Urban Arrow with your real load, and get it serviced by the same person who sold it to you.
Mission Electric stands out for the personalized, consistent, and professional service that you just won’t get with a big bike shop that has dozens of different brands or a big staff. It has been well worth the drive or train ride from Boston to buy and now service my bike.
Why people make the trip
Plenty of our customers come down from the Boston area. Usually it starts with a phone call, then a test ride here before they buy.

Make a day of it
Fox Point is a good place to spend an afternoon, whether or not you leave with a bike.
Brassil Playground
Right across the street from the shop. Handy if the kids come along for the test ride.
Wickenden Street
A few blocks away: coffee, lunch and small shops along Fox Point’s main street.
India Point Park
The waterfront park at the edge of Fox Point, and the start of the East Bay Bike Path, about 14 miles of car-free path to Bristol.
After a second equally generous phone call I decided to drive from Boston to check out a bike at Tyler’s shop. … I’d recommend this shop to anyone in the Boston/Providence area looking to learn how an ebike might fit into their life.
Call ahead, tell us what you need the bike for, and we’ll have it charged and ready to ride when you get here.
