Ride it before
you decide.
Take it around the block and up a hill, with the kids on the back if you want. Tell us roughly what you’re looking for and we’ll have a couple of bikes ready when you get here.
How it works
Most people haven’t ridden a mid-drive e-bike before, so they’re not sure what they’re choosing between. That’s what the test ride is for.
We ask what you need it for
School drop-off? Replacing a car? A commute with a hill? That gets us from 40 bikes down to two or three.
You ride them
Out the door and around the block. It’s a short loop with a good hill, which is where you’ll feel what the motor does. Put stuff in the box, try folding it. If you’re stuck between two, ride them back to back.
You take your time
Plenty of people ride, go home and think it over. If you want to hold a bike, we’ll put your name on it with no deposit.

Before you come
What should I wear?
Whatever you’d normally wear riding. These are step-through bikes, so a skirt or a suit is fine. We have helmets.
Can I bring my kids?
Please do. If you’re looking at a cargo bike, riding it with your kids in the box is the best way to know.
Do I need to know which bike I want?
No. Most people don’t. Tell us what you’re trying to replace and we’ll narrow it down.
Can I ride more than one?
Yes, and you should. Back-to-back is the fastest way to feel the difference between a Tern and an Urban Arrow.
