What actually happens

Most people have never ridden a mid-drive e-bike and have no idea what they’re choosing between. That’s the whole point of coming in.

01

We ask what you’re solving

School run? Killing a car? A commute with a hill in it? The answer narrows forty-six bikes down to about three before you throw a leg over anything.

02

You ride the real thing

Out the door and around the block. Short loop, but there’s a good hill on it, and the hill is where a mid-drive motor stops being a spec and starts making sense. Load the box, try the fold. If you’re deciding between two bikes, ride them back to back. That’s when the difference gets obvious.

03

You fall in love

Somewhere on Brook Street the hill stops mattering. You relax. The bike starts to feel like an extension of you, and then it lands. This is the one. Not just a bike you could ride, but your bike.

What should I wear?

Whatever you’d normally wear riding. These are step-through bikes, so a skirt or a suit is fine. We have helmets.

Can I bring my kids?

Please do. If you’re looking at a cargo bike, riding it with the actual kids in the box is the only honest test.

Do I need to know which bike I want?

No. Most people don’t. Tell us what you’re trying to replace and we’ll narrow it down.

Can I ride more than one?

Yes, and you should. Back-to-back is the fastest way to feel the difference between a Tern and an Urban Arrow.
