Why the T10

The light one, and the honest math

The Ultimate T10 is 53.6 lb without the battery. The other Ultimates are 59.5 lb. Six pounds does not sound like much until you carry a bike up a triple decker staircase in February.

It also has the biggest battery in the Ultimate range at 625 Wh, and the nicest display, a removable Kiox 300 in color.

Read this part before you buy it

The T10 is $4,699. The Ultimate T11+ is $4,499. The T11+ is faster, with a 85 Nm Performance Line Sport motor and assist to 28 mph, against 75 Nm and 20 mph here.

So you are paying $200 more for a slower bike. What you get for it is 85 more watt hours, six fewer pounds, and a removable color display instead of a fixed one. That is a real trade and some people should take it. If your ride is short, hilly and ends with stairs, the T10 is the better bike. If your ride is long and flat and you want to keep up with traffic, buy the T11+ and put the $200 toward a lock.

We would rather say that here than have you find out later.
